A Moment In Time

I want you to do an exercise with me. Think of a photo of a friend or family member that you love dearly. A photo that, every time you look at, you pause and your heart smiles.

One photo that comes to mind for me, is a picture taken at my wedding of my grandmother. She was unaware that the photo was being taken. It was a moment captured as she sat there, heart full, watching her family together at this special occasion. She passed away in 2003, less than a year after that photo was taken. As you may imagine, it’s a priceless possession that I cherish.

Moments in time like the one you see here of my niece are exactly that, real moments that can never be recreated.

It's Not That Deep Karen, It's Just A Headshot

Let me ask you something. Have you ever worked with a business that provided you such incredible service and attention to detail that you felt truly cared for? Some companies even pride themselves on treating their clients like family.

When a business takes the time to listen to you, meet and exceed your expectations and serve you well from start to finish, it’s an unforgettable experience. These are the businesses we return to and send referrals to.

What makes the experience so memorable? It’s the feeling that they truly cared for you, they were honest with you and they genuinely strived to provide quality.

Isn’t this the exact same experience we work so hard to provide to our clients? When we give genuine, care, thought and effort to our clients, the rewards are immeasurable. It beings with that first impression. In today’s digital age, this is often done with our headshot.

If you haven’t already tried AI headshots yourself perhaps you have seen them online. Some results appear almost spot-on and even quite glamorous, while others are a far cry from accurately resembling the subject. The overall consensus remains that the photos appear overly airbrushed, lacking genuine expression and downright silly, aka fake.

And the truth is that they are fake. These are not real moments in time that have captured you as you are, posture, expression and essence.

The truth is that clients want the real you. They want the professional who pays attention to detail, who is genuine and trustworthy, who invests time and effort into their business and doesn’t cut corners. Show them your irreplaceable qualities with a real life headshot.
